Keeping listeners Grounded in Greenville, whether long time citizens or temporary students, because they deserved to be informed.
I had lived in Greenville, NC for a little more than two years before deciding to re-enroll at ECU. I knew that the City of Greenville was more than just a college town and wanted to give everyone listening the information they needed to stay up-to-date about what was happening in the city that they were living in.
I wanted to highlight the alumni that became small business owners and the small business owners that expanded beyond Greenville, NC. I wanted to show students that there were things to do other than drink and party and show citizens that students were doing more than just drinking and partying!

I also wanted to shed light on issues within the University as well as within the City of Greenville. I believe that no matter who is listening, if you are living in Greenville, temporarily or permanently, these things are affecting you and you have the right to know and make a change!

Internship: Spring 2019
My Hands On Learning Opportunity!
During my Spring 2019 Internship with WZMB, I was able to do more than just my weekly one hour show! I was able to expand my reach into the everyday grind & support of the station & staff.
I was able to assist with things like:

Helping prepare for weekly staff meetings

Creating sign-up sheets for staff event sign-ups

Training & assisting other DJ's when requested

Cleaning out & organizing hard copy music storage

Creating "How-To" hard copy & video instructions for training future staff members.

Help plan & prepare for upcoming events.

Work on the Pirate Media 1 PirateFest 2019 Planning Committee to help plan, organize, and execute Pirate Media 1 activities at PirateFest 2019.

I was able to work more with Adobe Creative Cloud products and gain more experience using those.
